Security for your projects

Major construction and installation projects often take years before they are actually realised. Each project is unique and in most cases must be realised under time pressure. In addition, a variety of companies are often involved with different interests in the implementation.

As a person or company you are exposed to significant contractual, financing and event risks throughout the entire process. As a neutral partner we provide you with trusting support right from the very beginning of your project. We analyse the tender documents and assist you in discussions with the contracting construction/installation companies or clients.

We know the demands made by investors and project funding banks. We will jointly develop project insurance coverage with you that satisfies all the parties involved and avoids under-coverage.The communication and documentation will be provided in the respective national language as a matter of course.

NW Assekuranz assist you right up until the project’s successful completion. And in the event of a claim we are fully committed to helping you – convincingly and professionally.

Infrastructure projects

Extraordinary market expertise

Infrastructure projects can be both technical and social in nature. They are no longer realised by just the public sector but also increasingly by the private and privately organised corporate sector. The project stakeholders can be divided into three basic groups:users, constructors and operators.

The largest infrastructure projects in northern Germany relate to transport infrastructure. This region with Hamburg at its centre is very well connected internationally in transport terms via the north German maritime ports and airports, motorways and the local and national rail network. The A1 andA7 motorways are among the most important transport routes in Germany. The entire Scandinavian market is also moving closer to the region via the planned Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link. The A24 motorway also provides a quick link to Berlin.

However, Germany’s infrastructure has been largely neglected in recent years and the government has pushed back urgently needed investments.

In northern Germany, for example, the so-called “Y-Line” rail route is in the starting blocks – a rail infrastructure project that will extend the Bremen-Hanover and Hamburg-Hanover corridors. In addition to handling rapid passenger traffic between the cities, the Y-Line is also intended to handle hinterland freight transport to and from the ports of Hamburg, Bremen/Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven. The long-mooted plans to expand the A7 motorway, deepen the River Elbe and renovate the Kiel Canal should also be mentioned here.
